WELCOME TO MOROCCO! SHALOM!
Travel around the world at Disney‘s Epcot! Visit Morocco… just one of 12 international pavilions surrounding the World Showcase Lagoon.
Step into Morocco… with its dramatic architecture… its aged stucco facade and classic minaret towering overhead… all modeled after the Koutoubia Mosque in Marrakesh.
Wander through its corridors and be transported to another world. Find cool courtyards with arched entryways and bubbling fountains… all beautifully tiled with intricate mosaic work. Kick back and relax here… a respite from the heat… after a day of walking throughout Epcot.
Immerse yourself in the Moroccan bazaar… with its array of shops featuring colorful apparel, ceramics, brassware, carpets… all permeated with the aroma of fragrant incense. Stop into The Art of Henna for a fancy henna tattoo… after all, it’s only temporary.
Authentic Moroccan cuisine awaits at Restaurant Marrakesh. Savor their Roasted Lamb Shank paired with a Tangier’s Breeze… Vodka, Pineapple Juice & Midori. Enjoy traditional music and entertainment while you dine… even belly dancing!
Tangierine Café has lighter fare. Try their Shawarma Lamb Platter… slices of Spiced Lamb with Tzatziki Sauce, Hummus, Couscous & Batbout (Moroccan Pita Bread). An authentic delicacy for dessert is Baklava… flaky Pastry with Honey plus Walnuts, Cashews & Pistachios.
A unique treat… Chocolate Honey Baklava drizzled with Honey & Chocolate Sauce… topped with Sliced Almonds.
Spice Road Table is the newest restaurant at the Morocco Pavilion featuring foods from countries around the Mediterranean. Its location is ideal… right on the World Showcase Lagoon with indoor and outdoor dining.
The bar is a must-see as you first enter the restaurant with panoramic views to the lagoon… quite impressive! Try their Spice Road Signature Sangria… or opt for a specialty cocktail like… Mediterranean Journey… Peach Vodka, Cointreau, Orange Juice & Grenadine.
Choose from appetizer style offerings (small plates) and specialty entrées. Enjoy Spicy Garlic Shrimp, Fried Calamari, Moroccan Lamb Sausage and Rice-stuffed Grape Leaves… all delicious!
The wide range of menu offerings at Spice Road Table makes it a perfect place to dine any time of the day. Yet evenings overlooking the lagoon are very picturesque… especially during Epcot‘s nightly fireworks display.
Snap a photo with the life size camel adorned with a traditional fez hat (tarboosh) as a memento for your visit to the Morocco Pavilion at Epcot.
