If you live in Texas you may have grown up with a Carrabba’s Italian Gill in your life.

For much of us in the rest of the country the brand may seem relatively new. They had a massive expansion in recent years and only fairly recently switched from local area marketing to buying nation ads on TV.

The restaurant chain started with humble beginnings and remained family owned for years.

Carrabba’s is actually credited with inventing fettuccine alfredo… they were actually scared to put the pasta dish on the menu for fear that it wasn’t authentic at all, but the cheesy creamy dish was a huge hit and still to this day one of their most popular dishes.
