The picture of the controller above is a wireless controller patent that Nintendo has applied for at the FCC very recently.

While they avoid using the wording SNES or Switch, the design is obviously that of the classic SNES controller shape.

There isn’t much use for this in mass market for Nintendo expect for the Switch, so while not absolute confirmation of a large SNES game presence coming soon to the Switch, I wouldn’t be surprised if they have at least 20 SNES classics by Christmas.

No word on pricing, but expect that they will likely follow the same formula as NES titles, using a single software download, hopefully included free with Nintendo Online like the NES games.
