Hard Rock Stadium in Miami will be the honored site for this year’s biggest day of football… Super Bowl LIV. NFC‘s champions, the San Francisco 49ers, will match up against AFC‘s champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, to determine the title winners of this 100th season of the NFL.

This will be the first Super Bowl in 50 years for the Chiefs… their only Super Bowl win… while the 49ers have won five out of six of their Super Bowl appearances. The Chiefs are expected to win… yet odds favor them only by one point. Chiefs‘ quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the favorite to win Super Bowl LIV MVP. The champions of this 54th Super Bowl will receive permanent possession of the sterling silver Vince Lombardi Trophy created by Tiffany & Co.

A surfer in the Super Bowl? One of Florida‘s own will be playing for the 49ers… running back Raheem Mostert. He helped clinch their NFC victory over the Green Bay Packers… setting a record with 200 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns. A native of New Smyrna Beach, Raheem grew up surfing and playing football. As a teen he was even offered a sponsorship with Billabong. He declined the offer to pursue his true passion of football… which led him to this incredible Super Bowl opportunity. Watch for his signature touchdown celebration… hopping down on the grass and pretending to paddle for that perfect wave!

Super Bowl Sunday has become an unofficial American holiday. This year’s game will be kicking off in Miami at 6:30pm EST on February 2nd. Typical Florida warm weather is predicted for the game… a high of 77˚ with scattered thunderstorms and showery conditions possible. Super Bowl LIV between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs will be a matchup you won’t want to miss!
