Tour the world at Disney‘s Epcot! Step back in time to Colonial America at the American Adventure Pavilion… just one of 12 international pavilions surrounding the World Showcase Lagoon.

This is the signature pavilion at Epcot… with its prime, central location on the lake. Its classic architecture is reminiscent of historic American landmarks… Independence Hall, Monticello, Boston’s Old State House and Colonial Williamsburg.

Enter the stately Rotunda with its soaring 45 foot tall domed ceiling and cupola. The acoustics are ideal for Voices of Liberty, the a cappella choral group that performs patriotic songs daily… and Christmas songs at the holidays. Wander around the Rotunda and view oil paintings and famous quotes from notable Americans representing our country’s history.

History comes alive in The American Adventure… an inspiring show portraying pivotal events in American history… and commemorating key people who helped shape our nation. Disney has creatively paired audio-animatronics with film and music. The characters are so authentic that many viewers believe they are real! Pictured are the narrators, Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain, atop the flame of the Statue of Liberty. It’s a must-see show!

The American Adventure Pavilion offers delicious options for classic American food and drink. A new barbecue eatery is set to open where The Liberty Inn for years served traditional fare. The Regal Eagle Smokehouse will be featuring a smoked BBQ menu along with craft brews on tap.

Follow the delicious aromas to the Funnel Cake Kiosk where a fresh funnel cake will be fried up while you wait. Savor the new flavor… Spiced Pumpkin Funnel Cake…. and top it with Chocolate Sauce, Spiced Apples or Vanilla Ice Cream.

The Fife & Drum Tavern serves fast casual choices commemorating all things Americana. A cool treat on a hot day with a patriotic twist is the American Dream… a layered concoction of Vanilla Soft Serve with Strawberry and Blue Raspberry Slushes.

Pair a savory Turkey Leg with a Sam Adams Seasonal Craft Beer. Or try an all-American Barq’s Root Beer Float.

Across the plaza is the America Gardens Theater, an outdoor amphitheater that hosts well-known singers and bands performing live at Garden Rocks! and Eat to the Beat! concerts in spring and fall… plus the Candlelight Processional at the holidays. Be sure to see a concert here if you can… the sound system is amazing!

Watch for the Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps parade held daily.

You just may see some familiar Disney participants!

Colonial Mickey & Minnie may even bid a “Good Day to ye”.

Finish off your patriotic visit to Colonial America at the American Adventure Pavilion with the always incredible Epcot fireworks display!
