Remember the classic Disney movie, Beauty and the Beast, and Belle‘s admirer, the burly hunter Gaston? Belle refers to him as “positively primeval” when he tries to bully his way into her affections. Now, Magic Kingdom‘s new Fantasyland has a special tavern named after this movie’s villain. In the Enchanted Forest area, just next to the Beast’s Castle and Be Our Guest Restaurant, you’ll find Gaston’s Tavern… where unique treats await.

Stop in here for a Warm Cinnamon Roll and a stein of Le Fou’s Brew. The cinnamon rolls are Gaston sized… generously iced and spicy sweet. Le Fou’s Brew is the tavern’s signature drink… frozen apple juice with a hint of toasted marshmallow topped with passion fruit mango foam… a fantastical and tasty concoction.

For a wintry treat, try Le Fou’s Winter Brrrew… creamy hot cocoa with a hint of toasted marshmallow topped with whipped cream and crushed candy canes… ideal for those cooler days and evenings. Opt for either of Le Fou’s Brews in a souvenir stein or goblet bearing the images of Gaston or Belle.

Gaston’s Tavern is appropriately the manliest of manly places… patterned after the French countryside tavern in the Disney movie. Here, Gaston presumptuously boasted to his friends how Belle was sure to marry him. The tavern’s ambience will draw you into the movie… with its rustic, warm and inviting décor… featuring a massive stone fireplace adorned with a portrait of the villain himself. Next to the hearth is Gaston’s huge armchair complete with fur throw. Hop into his chair and catch a photo to remember your visit.

Don’t miss the fountain out front with a statue of the strapping Gaston and his sidekick Le Fou. Gaston holds a leaky keg… and Le Fou is desperately trying to fill steins with the escaping brew. Notice Gaston’s pompous plaque which reads…

Tribute to Gaston… An Extravagantly Generous Gift to the Humble People of My Village… From Me, Gaston!

You may even chance upon the manly man Gaston himself by the fountain… a perfect photo op. Tell him “It’s nice to meet you”… and he’ll respond characteristically… “Yes, it is!”
