Cable is loosing millions of subscribers every year. So what are these people doing beside the obvious Netflix & Youtube apps?
More are now choosing to add about 75 live channels including ESPN & HBO on to their existing Hulu account for as little as $38/mo.
So is it really a true cable replacement? It depends on what you liked or like about cable TV.
But if you want live news channels and sports channels along with other favorites like Freeform, Food Network, and TLC the answer may be yes.
But if you want to save money this is a winner! My cable company wanted $45/mo for just the 2nd dvr fee. Now I pay $44.99/mo for many of my favorite channels to Hulu. I choose to pay $7.99/mo for an add on of a dozen extra channels, and $15/mo for HBO. It is still way less than my old cable tv bill.
Other live tv packages available include YouTube TV, Fubo TV, Sling TV, Philo TV, Playstation Vue, and soon Vidgo.
Some places can also subscribe to TVision by T Mobile with many more channels than the others but also a higher price point.
